At The Tone The Time Will Be ...
... half-past turning off the computer and going out to play. These days I am up before the sun and my common sense. My attention span seems to be on vacation. This morning my mind is curiously blank. This is all you get. Oh, and a bit of advice: Turn off the computer and go outside. Meet a friend for lunch. Do a systems check to see if you can still communicate without a keyboard. But afterward, please be sure and come back to tell me how it went.

Good advice. I did just that on Wednesday, it was fun.
I needed the vacation time, but I'm getting a little antsy. Now I'm rested and ready to return to work.
I did it, Quill -- but I couldn't stop tapping my fingers on the table as I talked.
Have a Happy New Year in your trim and fit new frame.
Getting ready to go out and haul firewood ...
Al -- that's why I do that!
OC -- becareful of your typing fingers.
Can't go out it's wet and windy (and that's just the kids!). I've had a conversation with wifey today though and that went okay.
Bazza -- if the kids are wet and windy maybe you should put them out!
OK......wait a minute......I am back....we playeed Deal or No Deal on the TV game. My five year old came away with the most money $300,000, I got $220,000, daughter got $200,000 and hubby got $1000. It was fun but it took a long time....2 hours.
Lori -- quality family time. Your kids will treasure those memories forever.
does cleaning the house count???
In my world it ranks right up there with poopy diaper changing....
It's a slip and slide out there! Yesterday Cameron went out to perform his "waste management" duties and instead performed a perfect pratfall... doggone it I wasn't out there to witness it.
Later I will go out and feed the baby alpaca, and I will kiss him for you!
Slainte~

Enjoy - you'll be back in the grind soon enough. Any more snow there? You could always make a snowman for fun! LOL
Rachelle -- does cleaning the house involve fresh air and blowing out the cobwebs? By all means, kiss the baby alpaca for me, but if it offers you one of those slobbery, wet kisses back, you can keep it.
Jackie -- 59* and the sun is shining! Shirt sleeve weather. Frosty has melted.
I had the computer off for a while but I was reading.
Nessa -- so you don't know if you're able to communicate without a keyboard? Hmmm ...
Caryl -- if there is to banging of pots and pans, I am certain I will hear your crew from here. Thanx.
Took all five of my grandkids to see a movie about a dragon. It was a great day.
Dr. John, that sounds like a great way to spend the afternoon. I am glad you had fun.
Hey Quill
I get bored with my computer most times. I think I have PC Burnout.
I turned my computer this morning to check email and friends blogs then turned the pc off.
Went to the mall, called a friend and met up and went for supper and came home and watched the second Pirates movie on dvd. First one was better.
Only turning the computer back on now. Didn't have one jitter or spasm or withdrawl feeling.
I Feel Good.
Bill
PS it also helps to have Alexander sitting in my lap and not letting me type. He seems to need to be loved and when I am not petting he he pushes down on my arm, making it very hard to type.
Blessings and all the best for 2007
Bill -- I can tell from reading your posts that you spend a lot of time at the mall. Those are the kind of places I try to avoid. There are gasp people in them!
Charlie -- when I went out to play yesterday I forgot to turn mine off, too. (I was late and just ran.) While I was gone two folks tried to IM me, and figured I didn't answer on purpose. :P
QuillDancer,
It went well thank-you.
And Happy New Year to you and all you care about. May 2007 bring you a balance between keyboard and people contact.
rel
Remiman -- may 2007 bring all of us balance!
Hi Quill
I may spend time at the mall, but not to be a Mall Rat. I like to walk it helps keep my cholesterol down. This is why I go to the mall.
It is only a 20 minute walk, I go to Safeway to get some things I need, may have a coffee at Timothys, then come home, and depending if the #19 is running anywhere close to schedule may take it home. If not I walk back home.
I don't mind the mall now as Christmas is over, I avoided the Mall like you wouldn't believe leading up to the Christmas Madness. I don't like crowds either, all the pushing, and snarly people.
I thought Christmas was supposed to make people happy, not snarly and hateful.
have a wonderful weekend
