Time to Vote!
Time to vote for your favorite prevaricator. The "fabricated tales" of each author's first meeting with me are listed below. Read them all, then vote for your favorite. The poll will remain up through mid-night August 19th. The winners (1st, 2nd, & 3rd place) will be announced on or before Monday, August 21st at 8:00 a.m. Since it's a Liar's Contest we are all obviously short on integrity, so there is no limit to how many times you can vote -- or how often. There is nothing scientific or fair about this. Go out and campaign. Get your friends to come vote for you. Get strangers to come vote for you. The Greatest Liar will also most likely be the greatest hustler .... Let the games begin ....
Ahem. The poll is not in the comment section. It is on the right sidebar. You know, the place where my links usually are .... And if for some wierd reason it isn't there, just click reload and it will pop back up! Apparently it likes to play hide-n-seek.

hello. sorry for i cannot seem to find the right sidebar..so i must leave my vote and pleads in here.
i vote for Dr. John to win. come on, no one tells a story, lie or not, like he does. that man needs to be recognized somehow. and you my lady are the one to do it...
you have amazing stories here. of notable mention. they are all great but not enough to beat Dr. John's...
so in my house, there are 6 people..myself and 5 kids...we all individually place a 1 million votes for him...now if you need us all to come and write individual messages, that can be arranged too...let me know...if not..i will assume that he just got counted for 6 million votes!
and not that i'm trying to sugar you up but this is a very nice looking blog you got here..nice to have been back..
I have to disqualify myself from the contest because my story was the one that was true. I'd like to vote (1) Donna's 2nd lie, because every good lie has a ring of truth in it,(2)Goldennib's 1st lie, because I love her writing and clever comments on several blogs that I read (3)Jenn's 1st lie, for her creativity and persistence.

Quill, sorry about the abrupt departure last night, the computer bumped me......and I was to lazy to go downstairs and reboot my system, so I just went to bed.......and I knew that you needed to also. I could talk forever...you know that.
Quill, I think you know a lot more about blogging than I do.......How do you get such a customized looking email......from comments, and where did you get that adorable panda.........I see everyday things on blogger that I wish I knew how to use. But I am HTML challenged......I need a class, but the problem, I wouldn't remember it. haha
got your post about the voting, will wait to see the results. I went in and made my vote (no it wasn't for my made up fib).
As for the pop-ups you are getting from visiting my blog, I haven't heard if any others are getting these same pop-ups, but I have removed the embedded players from the blog anyway.
I can only think you don't have your pop-up stopper turned on, which is easy to do, though if you do all pop-ups will not come up, like the comments pop-up on most blogs.
The way around this is to hold down the ctrl key when you want a pop-up to open.
Okay, I did the whole refresh thing and still don't get the poll. All I see is a visitor to your page thing. It's okay, I'll just wait and see the results. :)
I voted but not for me because I want to see how many do vote for me....ok....I'll vote once for me....
If you can't see the poll and you use MS IE, scroll all of the way down. It may be at the bottom. IE does that.
