Haunty Halloween

When I was 17 my friend Alene and I dressed up as gruesome witches and terrified children (we were supposed to be passing out candy at Alene's house). Alene would open the door and simultaneously snap off the porchlight. I would jump out of the darkness wearing a black turtleneck sweater, long black skirt and a black cape, my hair a ratted mess, my face green, my lips blue and my finger nails filed to a point and painted shiny, blood red. Muhahahahahahaha! Children would scream, throw their candy into the air and run for their lives. It was quite fun.

So... The way you did it, you actually received candy instead of giving it out? Makes me wish I didn't have to work through Halloween night... lol

My Dad used to put on the scariest costumes he could create and just walk into the houses of our neighbors. It was hysterical seeing them running out screaming! We could never figure out why these silly women never caught on.

Sounds like a fun time, nothing like having a bit of harmless fun with kids.

A Happy Holloween to you. We have to get in costume today at work, I really didn't know what to go as so I am a combination Pirate/Cowboy. Got the Pirate's wig and eyepatch and cowboy had and bandana. I look quite the mess especially with the 5 days growth of whisker.

hem-hem.... I always had to be beautiful for Halloween.
I think I read while I was a child that what you dress up as for Halloween reflected what you really were inside....
Raised in the Nightmare House as I was, I think being a princess was my way of saying I deserved better LOL....
Wow, okay, Freud has left the building.
