Help! I'm Melting!

I am certain that my insistance on going to work is prolonging my cold. I believe my brain is melting and draining out my nose. I hab a heg ob a timeb talging and hab sahd somb ob da cradiest thigds to my studnds. My nose is raw and my current perfume is eau de Vicks. On top of that the air conditioning went down in our building wing today. The teacher in the classroom next door to me came into my room and stuck his head in my mini refrigerator to cool off. While in there he snatched a bottle of cold water. The kids melted into puddles on their chairs and used their workbooks as fans. It is probably the most productive work they've put them to yet .... For once they were eager to go to music because, as one young man said, "Even if she makes me dance with a girl, at least we'll be in an air conditioned room." I don't know if the air will be on tomorrow or not. Think cool thoughts for us.

with 5 kids at home and 4 campuses we end up with every bug out there..our shelves must be stocked up with kleenex boxes (the softest or the ones with lotion), vicks galore (my sons hate the feeling on their hands, i LOVE the smell, reminds me of my grandma. if i was around you i be sniffing you..it's a comforting smell ;p i'm sure you smell pretty) and cold meds of all sorts...yikes, my medicine cabinet is better stocked than my kitchen (could also be that i don't cook ;p). trust me they love me somewhere in some fancy head quarter.

as for the heat, we just dropped 20 degrees from the last few days...i went from sandals /capris yesterday to jackets and socks today! wish i could send you some of this cooler weather..

hugs. good luck.

This bug is my fault. I practically hibernated all summer. I wanted th e alone time and the quiet to destress from a school year spent working 3 jobs and running Sidewalk. That isolation allowed my immune system to relax! Now it's working double time to get back into fighting shape!
